PIIRT Chapter 5 - Incorporating Non-Image Data with Matthew

Matthew Hayes CIIP. Matt is currently the PACS Manager for
Radiology Partners. Prior engagements had him troubleshooting many
different imaging challenges ranging from AI enablement, Encounters
Based Imaging, Long Term Archiving, Cardiology, Radiology, and
Pathology. The lively discussion covers an array of use cases and
workflows, beginning with the historical uses of PACS to managing
non imaging textual and metadata to the advent of DICOM SR, which
in tandem with standardization efforts of IHE profiles enabled more
dynamic workflows, such as AI and Communication and follow-up
tracking.
